My client is a growing Personal Lines Insurance Company located in Tampa, Florida who is searching for a Reserving Analyst to evaluate the company’s reserve levels as well as provide product research and development through in-depth analysis of pricing and underwriting variables (to include modeling, loss ratio relativities, and similar analysis and provides product recommendations accordingly). The ideal candidate will develop business requirements based on product, marketing, and underwriting needs. They will report to the Director of Risk Management.

This candidate will prepare reserve analysis based on loss triangles and develop estimates for future losses. They will help prepare quarterly and annual financial submissions, analyze pricing and underwriting variable for adequacy, correlation, loss propensity and make recommendations accordingly. They will be required to take and pass actuarial exams as developed with their manager.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or one to two year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates in Personal Insurance, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter or Casualty Actuarial Society exams preferred.
