Summary of Role:
Under the general direction of the Senior VP of Marketing, conducts sales/liaison calls on
potential clients nationally; develop new business for all TPA products and services;
promotes quality improvement in delivery of services to assure continued use; provides
required reporting to the Senior VP and assists in sales projects nationally.
Experience:
Must have previous experience delivering claims TPA services to Claims Manager, Brokers, MGA'S, Risk Manager and Self-insured decision makers.
Responsibilities:
Develops sales plan
Identifies and develops new business prospects
Prepares sales proposals using data from potential client
Makes sales presentations to clients
Conducts pricing analysis in conjunction with National Sales Manager
Maintains contacts with current customers; resolves problems when necessary
Assists in evaluating market conditions, market trends and competitive companies
May provides Market Communications input for development of promotional tools
Supplies all necessary information for reporting and client setup to appropriate Home Office personnel
Attends industry functions; upholds professional image of corporation

DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for managing a property claims unit of SIU investigators Your responsibilities will include coordinating all activities of the SIU unit and overseeing the assignment of caseloads and coordinating the investigative activities with internal and external resources. You will also maintain statistical reporting data and develop anti-fraud plans in accordance with state regulations, develop and conduct programs and training sessions in fraud awareness and detection and handle all SIU administrative functions.
A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible property claims adjusting experience and skills development, with at least 5 years of progressive SIU management experience is required. . You must have a working knowledge of SIU investigative skills and a thorough understanding of state fraud provisions and guidelines, with a demonstrated ability to properly apply coverage and adhere to Company guidelines. College degree and law enforcement experience is preferred.

As Claims Manager you will have technical and managerial responsibilities over a current staff of 6 with the anticipated growth of an additional 4-5 Claims Representatives within the next six months. The typical per adjuster pending averages 40-50 features and is 100% personal lines auto exposures.
The position requires at least 3+ years in a claims staff management role and 6-8 years proficiency in all areas of personal lines Florida auto claims technical expertise.
A college degree and continuing insurance educational is preferred.

• MUST have 8 years of professional experience in construction industry risk management
• MUST have experience within a risk management department of a corporation
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Interacts with estimating and operations personnel to determine project specific insurance requirements
• Obtain and administer loss sensitive insurance coverage's for large joint venture construction projects, and will administer existing master liability and property programs
• Deals with insurance brokers and carriers to obtain project specific insurance quotations
• Evaluates and advises project personnel of most appropriate insurance coverage's, including pricing
• Interacts with joint venture partners to coordinate insurance requirements
• Administers, monitors and reports on status of existing large loss sensitive insurance programs
• Interfaces with financial personnel regarding financial status of existing insurance programs
• Supervises administration of property and casualty insurance claims, including handling of large claims
• Responsibilities require that RM be thoroughly familiar with large deductible and retrospectively rated loss sensitive insurance programs. RM must also be thoroughly familiar with worker's compensation, general liability, professional liability, builder's risk, pollution liability, financial risk, and other forms of insurance coverage.
Education:
• BA in Business
• Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation or equivalent is a plus
