CAT Modeling Director

Our client an A++ rated carrier with
domestic and international reach has an opening for a professional
to manage a Corporate CAT modeling unit which models our Client’s
exposures to: US hurricanes, European windstorms, earthquakes, acts
of terrorism, and infectious disease exposures from all relevant
lines of business including property, work comp, life, and A&H.
Activities include:
- Providing modeling reports for
financial statements, rating agency reports, corporate aggregate
monitoring, reinsurance placements, underwriting, and senior
management requests;
- Managing cat modeling staff (4
people currently);
- Being the lead liaison with our
cat modeling vendors;
- Proving modeling assistance and
training to profit centers and other areas of the company.
The ideal candidate will have 3+
years of CAT modeling experience as well as some actuarial
experience. This is a Director level position with a salary to match
– well into 6 figures.

Auto Claims Executive

Arizona and Georgia. These positions require a minimum of 10 years
Auto claims management experience. You will be leading several
regional offices totaling up to 200 direct and indirect reports.
Strong documented leadership skills as well as technical acumen are
required. An advanced degree or industry designations are preferred.
Multi state claims jurisdiction experience is desired. If you have

to identify candidates for this key executive claims growth
opportunity.

Must be Fluent in Spanish & English (both spoken and written).

Must have current or recent experience within the Latin American
claims market.

Provide technical claims handling support across all lines of
business throughout Latin America.

Must have the ability to travel 30% within the Latin American
markets.

Direct oversight of all claims in excess of US$500,000, including
approving reserves and payments.

Develop, disseminate and implement Group Claims Philosophy and
Strategy across Latin America.

Define fraud detection and management strategy and requirements
for all businesses within the region.

Develop, promote and monitor the implementation of claims policies
and practices.

Establish and maintain controls to cover exposure from claims
reserving and other claims activities.

Ensure recovery under group and regional reinsurance treaties.

Drive customer service improvements within the claims process to
enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Conduct Peer Reviews/Audits of the regional claim operations.
Skills & Experience:

Seasoned Claims management professional (minimum 10 years
experience).

Proven ability to develop and execute business strategy.

In-depth knowledge of: Commercial technical claims handling
covering one or more of Property, Construction, Machinery Breakdown,
Casualty, Marine Cargo, Hull and Freight Forwarders Liability,
Personal lines insurance products and claims handling.

Good understanding of: Global and regional intermediary
marketplace and trends.
Salary commensurate with experience, bonus potential up to 40%,
aggressive relocation package.

Large Loss Property Consultant

Company is a high level Property Claims Consulting firm that
provides damage appraisals of large property losses to insurers.
Candidates must be proficient in Xactimate or other automated
estimating system, possess a minimum of 5 years' experience
estimating large building losses in an insurance related
environment, and have excellent verbal and above average written
skills. You will work with a team of experts to provide insurance
carriers with high level appraisals for large property losses.
Position is NYC-based but will involve travel for out of town/state
assignments, sometimes on short notice.
Company offers a strong starting salary and benefits package. They
also offer a bonus plan based solely on your accomplishments that
can reach 25% of base salary.

Extended Warranty Manager

rated carrier with international scope, has this newly created
position within the Personal Lines division of their International
Group. Our Client continues to launch new products and distribution
initiatives in an effort to capitalize on opportunities in global
markets. This position is accountable for the top line and bottom
line profitable growth of extended warranty business in the region.
Primarily to assist in regions where there is no Extended
Warranty(EW) infrastructure.
- Work with the local Personal
Lines (PL) team to get EW launched successfully.
- Be the bench strength we
require when EW expands into the major markets and regions we do
not currently operate in, such as China, India, Europe, Central &
Eastern Europe, MEMSA and Africa.
- Assist in any existing
territory on any major issue or initiative, top- or bottom-line
related.
- This position will be a
stepping stone to placement as a Regional Extended Warranty
Manager on International assignment.
- Must be willing to travel
internationally at least once a quarter.
- Must want to eventually work
overseas.
Skills/Experience required:
- At least six years of EW
management experience with full P&L responsibility, including
staff and budget management, at an International insurance company
or internationally recognized Warranty administrator.
- The position requires a highly
professional image which must be an asset when representing the
Client’s EW expertise at the highest level of prospective
international clients.
- This position will be turned
over periodically to fulfill needs at a regional level.
- Fluency in language(s) in
addition to English is a plus.
